About the roleAre you passionate about understanding customer behavior and driving business growth? As a Shopper and Category Insights Analyst at Officeworks, you will delve into the shopping habits and preferences of our customers, translating data into actionable insights. Your work will directly impact the optimization of our offerings, enhancing customer experience and fostering category growth. Join us in making sense of customer and category data to deliver engaging and profitable customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular reviews and analyses of economic, market, industry, competitor, customer, and shopper trends.
- Generate insights to inform Vision Planning, Category Plans, and Range Reviews, discovering new value areas.
- Collaborate with the Customer and Commercial teams on priorities and plans.
- Champion customer-focused decision-making and bridge knowledge gaps with the Insights Data and Analytics team.
- Support broader Customer Insights functions, including NPS, research, and business planning/partnering.
Having experience in the following would be ideal:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- PowerBI
- Medallia CX Platform
- Qualtrics Platform
- Snowflake
Work Experience:
- Proven business partnering experience
- Demonstrated ability to design and model category metrics.
- Essential analytics experience within a category or shopper function
- Significant experience working with industry data (such as Nielsen, IRI, Experian)
- Minimum 7 years of data analysis, interpretation, and data visualization experience
- Experience using SQL for data management and Advanced Analytics software desirable

- Retail experience preferred but not essential
