This exciting opportunity will see you reporting directly to the Finance Operations Manager and being responsible for maintaining and controlling RAA’s Accounts Receivable function. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:
- Reconciling specific suspense accounts and arranging for the clearance of outstanding items from those accounts
- Accurately creating and maintaining debtor master files, as well as processing invoices, ETL’s, and internal debtor invoice/reconciliation functions and ensure the input of correct required detail
- Contacting debtor accounts once they become overdue, ensuring all overdue accounts have been contacted in line with bad debt policy and collection process to discuss the current situation of debt
- Liaising with relevant business units to resolve any outstanding issues that are delaying payment of invoices
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing support and relief for other account staff as needed
- Running end of month reports
About you
You are a confident and passionate self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high-performing culture. You’re passionate about helping our community (and members) and want to make a difference.
For this role, we’re also looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years clerical experience in an accounts receivable role, with some reconciliation experience
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Tech 1 (Finance One) or Microsoft Dynamics experience would be an advantage
- Exceptional numeracy and accuracy skills
- Exceptional data entry skills
- Good communication skills and telephone manner
