Production Operative

Production Operative, Permanent opportunity paying 24779 + 20% shift allowance when you move to double days (hours shown below), paid overtime in excess of 39 hours and includes a generous benefits package.

Due to several internal promotions our manufacturing client based in Stonehouse has opened up 2 opportunities for experience production operatives / general operatives to join the business. Although based in Stonehouse our client is part of a international business that leads the way in their field.

The role will initially be working Monday to Thursday 7.30am til 4.30pm and Fridays 7.30am til 12.30pm whilst you are being trained but once this is completed you will be required to go on shift which will be double days. 6am til 2pm and 2pm til 10pm all Monday to Friday.

The successful Production Operative will be required to:

• To help prepare components for customers
• Operating Deburring machine
• Filing by hand
• Working to targets
• Helping to quality check
• Manual handling
• Complete relevant paperwork
• Prepare completed products ready for desptach
• Working as part of a team
• Any other duties as requested by your line manager

Our client is looking for Production Operative / General Operators that have the following skill set:

• experience of heat treatment or working with metals
• ability to read engineering drawings
• good attention to detail and problem solving skills
• good level of numeracy

Salary: 24,779 + 20% shift allowance

Overtime: Paid in excess of 39 hours at T1/2 or x2
