We need a technical expert who can lead by example, adopt evolving technologies and work with a diverse group of technology professionals to design the latest and most advanced tools, techniques, and platforms in the software development industry.

You will be responsible to bring a team of highly skilled engineers along for the journey, mentoring them to achieve their best talent whilst having fun along the way. Using your leadership capabilities and engaging communicative style you will be working alongside key stakeholders of all levels to deliver real business outcomes. This is a key role and requires a highly motivated individual with a strong background in software engineering and technical leadership.

Core Technical Skills:

  • Spring / SpringBoot Framework
  • Java Development
  • Rest API's
  • Swagger, Postman

Professional & Technical Experience:

  • Led teams of 10-20+ delivering API integration services
  • Great communication skills having experience on driving customer conversations with the ability to advise and mentor team members.
  • Good experience on SpringBoot tool for developing web applications and microservices
  • Experience in Core and Enterprise Java. Java 8 or above is preferred.
  • Experience designing and building applications from scratch
  • Experience with event-based and message-driven distributed systems like Kafka
  • Good understanding of data structures, design patterns and algorithms, and experience in applying them to design pragmatic solutions
  • Experience with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, JIRA, GIT, Confluence, Bitbucket, Splunk)
  • Deep knowledge and hands on experience in middleware SOA microservices, API management platforms and related activities
  • Requirement analysis, solution architecture design, resource based API modelling and micro services architecture
  • Good knowledge about design standards patterns and best practices
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in security standards and implementation
  • Performed in global delivery models or global delivery programs.
