Kickstart Junior Estimator – Job Purpose:
We are looking for a Junior Estimator to support our northern estimating team. The role will support the estimating team with maintaining existing workloads of the current team.
Kickstart Junior Estimator – Duties & Responsibilities:
The role will be responsible for estimating costs of a planned construction project in terms of the labour, equipment and materials required. They will also be responsible for analysing data that can affect costs. This will include things such as currency exchange rates and the company's productivity rates. Maintaining an up to date resource database to ensure all estimates are accurate. Produce company reports accurately and produce enquiry packs on time and supporting with any other estimating administration tasks. Other duties as reasonable assigned
Kickstart Junior Estimator – The following skills will be developed:
Estimating Skills; numeracy, attention to detail, teamwork, negotiation, communication, organisation and time management.
Data & statistics analysis
Kickstart Junior Estimator – Skills & Experience:
– Computer skills; Office 365 (Outlook, word, excel & PowerPoint).
– Able to multi-task, prioritise and manage time efficiently.
– Self-motivated, able to work as part of a team and own initiative.
Kickstart Junior Estimator – Essential Qualifications:
– GCSE Maths & English
