Psychology Department, Clinical Support Services are looking for a Senior Clinical Psychologist Kidney Services to join their Princess Alexandra Hospital team. Provide high level Clinical Psychology knowledge, skills, experience, and clinical leadership within the professional and multidisciplinary Kidney Services team. Duties undertaken are of a complex and varied nature with clinical decisions based on valid and reliable evidence. The role is expected to complete duties with a high degree of independence.

About the Role

  • Contribute to clinical research in accordance with organisational objectives, to promote new approaches and evaluation of existing methods.
  • Coordinate and participate in education programs for students and/or colleagues within the specialty work area.
  • Maintain an active involvement in further education such as professional development activities or postgraduate qualifications, to achieve skills, knowledge and experience that would benefit the specialty area.
  • Liaise with psychology colleagues outside of Metro South Health in response to complex conditions/cases as requested to optimise the continuum of care.
