CAMILLA is on the hunt to find an experienced and passionate Finance Manager to join the Finance Tribe.

Expanding rapidly into overseas markets, CAMILLA is well on our way to “Colour the world” With great success already in our US, EU and Australian markets, we are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee the management and operation of the financial accounting team to ensure all statutory reporting and compliance obligations are met.

What our Finance Manager will be doing:

  • Lead and develop a finance team of five providing direction and support to staff as required
  • Oversee and co-ordinate the month end close process
  • Review of, and assist in, the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Capture month end journals as required to ensure that all provisions, accruals, prepayments and consolidation adjustments are accounted for
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance and covenant reporting to external stakeholders
  • Support, and lead where possible, managing the annual statutory audit
  • Complete FBT workings, assist in preparing of income tax returns and review of monthly GST/BAS returns
  • Prepare or review US Sales Tax, and US State and Federal income tax submissions
  • Liaise with external accountants with respect to tax related queries
  • Continuous focus on driving business process improvement through engineering streamlined solutions and leveraging NetSuite ERP system
  • Aid in the implementation of, and providing technical support for, any relevant accounting standards
  • Ad hoc projects and analysis to support the executive team

What are we looking for in our Finance Manager:

  • CA qualified with a tertiary qualification in accounting and finance having 2+ years’ experience in a similar role (Retail or inventory-based favourable)
  • Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing staff to achieve both individual and departmental goals
  • Proven IFRS financial reporting experience and sound technical accounting skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query desirable) with the ability to manipulate data and work with technical staff to ensure the integrity of financial information
  • Experience with cloud-based ERP systems (NetSuite highly desirable)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to set priorities to meet critical deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels in business
