Area Sales Manager Beer

Our client has established themselves as a local brewery for locals. They are passionate about carefully crafted beer, with a strong focus on quality. They are all about the finer details. The team has a strong track record in creating and producing exceptional products and due to their continued growth and success, they are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to expand their portfolio throughout Melbourne.
Your main focus will be to build distribution and volume in both on and off-premise channels along with driving their year-round specialty limited releases. You'll do this by utilising your existing relationships that you have developed and nurtured through your career in the drinks industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building long-term, strategic relationships with customers to deliver outstanding service across on and off-premise trade
- Consistently hitting sales targets, business KPI's and building client list
- Hosting promotional activities and participating in trade events
- Being the face and ambassador of your designated territory and helping grow market presence and brand awareness
- Ensure execution of the commercial, promotional & strategic plans
- Recognise new customer opportunities and competitor threats/challenges
- Ensure marketing initiatives are being delivered and maximised
- Manage a geographical territory and journey planner
Key Attributes:
- A love of great high-quality beer
- A passion for the craft beer industry, understanding the importance of independent, Australian-owned craft breweries in the industry
- Grow an established client base and create new business opportunities
- A commitment to helping grow a positive and collaborative culture
- Exceptional communication, organisation and time management skills
- Ability to demonstrate previous success in a similar role
- Current Australian driver’s licence
