The Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Full Time Cleaning Services Supervisor to join our team at Canberra Centre in Canberra, ACT 2608. The roster for this position is:
Monday - 0600 to 1430
Tuesday - 0600 to 1430
Wednesday - 0600 to 1430
Thursday - 0600 to 1430
Friday - 1400 to 2230
If you have leadership and commercial or retail cleaning experience and would like to be part of a team that makes a difference, then we would love to hear from you.
This position is paid in accordance with the Cleaning Services Award 2020.
Role Requirements:
- Be well-presented, proactive and able to work well on your own
- Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience
- Prior leadership experience supervising a team
- An understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques
- Cleaning Machinery experience (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper)
- Good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices
- Be physically fit to carry out standard duties and ability to walk for lengthy periods
- Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to give direction and instruction to people
- Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure
- Consistent attention to detail
- Be able to communicate in verbal and written English
- Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays
- Must have valid work rights in Australia
