Food and Beverage Supervisor at milsoms Kesgrave Hall, Ipswich

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and beverage Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and supporting the rest of the team. The role is for 4 times per week for a maximum of 37 hours weekly. Salary is £23.5K based on experience.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Supervise and coordinate the food and beverage team, to ensure efficient and smooth service.- Run the restaurant and bar in the Food and Managers absence.- Deliver exceptional service to our customers, helping to coach junior members of the team.- Ensure high standards and cleanliness are maintained throughout the restaurant and bar.- Support the running of events, such as weddings and corporate site takeovers.REQUIREMENTS:- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels.- At least 1 years experience in a similar role.- Ability to share a passion for great food and drink.- Good time management and organisational skills.- Ability to mentor and develop more junior members of the team.- Knowledge of how to deliver great food service- Knowledge of using a barista coffee machine- Knowledge of how to serve alcoholic drinksThis role will include working weekends. Flexibility is required.Minimum of 1 year in a similar supervisor role is required.Salary will be plus a share of the monthly tip pool.
