We are seeking Field Service Technicians to join our Newcastle based team. Here you will have an opportunity to build upon your existing skill set and learn about Air Compressors and Power Generators. 

The Compressor & Generator industry offers a life-long career, where you can become a technical leader and specialise over time.

Company vehicle, mobile phone and tablet provided. With limited travel and limited overtime, you will work on a large variety of customer sites where no two days are the same. 

The Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will be the face of CAPS service, spending most of your time visiting our customers on-site, performing maintenance, fault finding and breakdown assistance. Working on a large variety of Air Compressors and Power Generators throughout Newcastle and the surrounding areas. 

This is a growth position where you will have the opportunity to travel and learn about our extensive product range. CAPS have a high performing team of technical experts where we have the ability to train and develop applicants who demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude coupled with a high-performance attitude.

General Tasks include:

• Regular maintenance and preventative servicing of compressed air systems and diesel-powered generators
• Troubleshooting, fault finding and breakdown response on customer premises and equipment.
• Identify improvements & communicate these to our customers and team.
• You will have the opportunity to work on a large range of air compressors and power generators where every day is different.

We and can train and develop your technical knowledge to work expertly and independently on Air Compressors and Generators.
