ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have multiple opportunities to join our team of Course Advisors. We are on the lookout for Sales Experts with extensive outbound sales experience to guide prospective students from their initial enquiry through to enrolment.

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 1 year experience in outbound sales within a contact centre.
  • Goal Orientated – motivated by company, personal, and financial goals.
  • Experience managing a prospect database and utilising tools such as Salesforce.
  • Cultural fit – ability to engage with our target market of working professionals.
  • Enthusiasm for early starts to your day i.e., 5:30am, to meet the demand of world-wide time differences.
  • Above all, Course Advisors must be driven, motivated and adaptable. You will be hard working, resilient and have a hunger to succeed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is accountable for but not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Preparing/updating/reviewing learning materials, assessments and solutions to ensure a quality student learning experience
  • Minimum eight teaching instances across six term, with one teaching free term.
  • Interacting pro-actively with students through webinars and the learning management system (e.g. forum)
  • Providing academic support to students
  • Marking and moderating assessments
  • Documenting student interactions and updating the student system accordingly
  • Assessing exemption / credit transfer requests
  • Sharing and presenting knowledge and expertise internally and/or externally at conferences as required
  • Participating in the development of student support initiatives
  • Actively participating in AIB’s Academic Scholarship Program
  • Coordination of online facilitators
  • Active involvement in the scholarly portal

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated high standard of verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer Service Focus and strong people skills
  • Experience in teaching subjects in the HRM discipline (including developing/updating materials, designing assessments, moderation)
  • Experience in teaching adult learners and post-graduate students
  • Experience in teaching in the online environment
  • Experience of teaching in Australian higher education
  • Evidence of positive student evaluations over a sustained period
  • Demonstrated capability of quality, engaging webinars
  • Up-to-date discipline knowledge in the Human Resource Management discipline
  • Higher Education pedagogical principles (including relating to online and distance learning and adult learning)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Currently we are looking for casual Online Learning Facilitators to provide outstanding teaching experiences for our students in the following subject areas:

  • HR/Management (specifically – strategic Human Resource Management, Organisational Learning and Design, Managing Change, Managing People in a Global Context and Strategic Management)
  • Financial Management and Corporate Governance

An Online Learning Facilitator (OLF) will deliver online classes under the guidance of the Subject Co-ordinator, Director of Academic Operations, or delegate. OLFs will deliver classes using AIB content and assessments. OLFs will provide assistance and support to students in all academic matters relating to the subject, deliver webinars in the subject, mark subject assessments, and provide feedback to students about marked assessment items. OLFs are required to remain up-to-date in their discipline area by participating in professional development. In addition, all Online Facilitators must adhere to AIB standards and protocols.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered you are required to meet the following selection criteria:

  • PhD level qualification in business or business-related discipline; or Masters level qualification in business disciplines PLUS significant relevant professional and/or management experience within the same discipline
  • Experience in teaching subjects in one or more of the above disciplines
  • Experience teaching within the Australian higher education sector; previous online teaching experience is preferred.
  • Teaching experience at the post-graduate level; previous MBA teaching experience is preferred Customer service focus and strong people skills
  • Demonstrated high standard of verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Must have the right to work in Australia

Research Administration Officer Part Time – Fixed Term July – December

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Research Administration Officer to join our team at AIB. This position is set to commence mid-July covering an extended leave period and offering a fixed-term arrangement till December.

Key Accountabilities:

This position is accountable for but not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinating all aspects of the research candidature journey including maintaining candidate data (e.g. Full Research Candidate Report Spreadsheet, candidate folder), producing reports and undertaking analysis for regular reporting, enrolments, invoicing, progress reports, official notification letters, supervision changes
  • Processing of research candidate applications for evaluation and admission
  • Initiating and implementing process improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relating to research candidates, their supervision and enrolments
  • Organising and providing executive support for meetings and events (e.g. R&HDC, Ethics Committees, Research Proposal Assessment Panels, Annual Candidate conference and Research Admissions Committee)
  • Coordinating research candidate invoices and ensuring financial records are up to date
  • Maintaining the research database and ensuring records are up to date
  • Coordinating the research candidate academic materials, timetabling of subjects and planning
  • research workshops
  • Providing administrative support for research candidates to the Associate Dean Research, Research Discipline Lead and Research Coordinator
  • Provide committee administrative support for the Ethics Committee Chair and Ethics Coordinator
  • Respond to email enquiries in a timely manner
  • Undertake other tasks as required by the Director of Academic Operations.

About you:

  • Experience with performing administration tasks in a higher education environment
  • Experience with student systems including Moodle (desirable)
  • Customer service-oriented with a professional and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication, drafting, and editing skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in reporting and documentation.
  • Experience in providing executive support and document preparation.
  • Experience with performing administration tasks in a higher education environment, working with student systems and Moodle is desirable.
