We are seeking a General Manager Logistics to join our INPEX Logistics team in Perth. Join us in helping shape a brighter energy future.

Reporting to the Vice President - Supply Chain, the General Manager - Logistics will be a dynamic leader with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Leadership: Prioritise the safety of our people and equipment.
  • Team Management: Lead the team responsible for:
    • Personnel transport to/from offshore facilities (fixed wing, rotary wing) and related accommodation.
    • Material storage (warehouses, supply bases) and movement (international freight forwarding, road freight, port, and marine operations).
    • Marine terminal operations.
    • Waste management.
  • Customer Focus: Meet the needs of internal customers, including Operations, Drilling, INPEX Corporate, and the new energy business.
  • Technical Oversight: Manage the technical aspects of marine and aviation to ensure safe and reliable delivery of services.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous efficiency improvements in processes.
  • Financial Management: Set, monitor and report on budgets and financial performance.
  • Performance Management: Manage logistics contractor performance to ensure INPEX requirements and contractual obligations are met.
  • Team Culture: Foster a positive culture within the Logistics and Supply Chain teams, supporting the business in a professional and effective manner.
  • Strategic Planning: Set the strategic direction for the INPEX Logistics team in consultation with INPEX management and stakeholders.

Successful Candidates Will Have Skills and Experience in:

  • Managing logistics professionals and contractors in dynamic project and operational settings
  • LNG (preferred)
  • Project planning and execution experience with demonstrated change management capability
  • Driving best practice in logistics in the operating phase of an asset
  • Extensive experience leading a large, diverse team that includes operational team members and technical authority specialists
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex array of stakeholders, identify opportunities and build strategic relationships to achieve business goals
