Sheetmetal Tradesperson(Northern Beaches, NSW)

The client is based on the northern beaches of Sydney, is a market leader in manufacturing Low Voltage Electrical Switchboards. They are an Australian owned nd operated company which has been producing quality built switchboards for over 70 years.
Enthusiastic tradesperson required for the fabrication of electrical switchboards. The ability to weld is essential with experience in switchboard fabrication an advantage. Alternatively we are also looking for a young local who is willing to be trained. An apprenticeship with us is available.
THE ROLE
- Manufacture electrical switchboards, including:
- Interpret drawings.
- MIG welding.
- Spot welding.
- Grinding.
- Use of guillotine.
- Use of folder.
- Use of sheetmetal punching machine
- Apply production practices as documented
- Assess jobs with Team Leader prior to commencement in regard to
- Keep work areas tidy and safe.
- Prevent risks to Health & Safety at work
In this role, you will be based at their facility at Warriewood, on the northern beaches of Sydney.
- Minimum of 4 years related experience
- We are looking for someone who is interested in becoming a long-term member of the business.
- This a position for somebody who is reliable and punctual.
- Experience in switchboard fabrication and CNC machinery is an advantage.
- The ideal candidate will be safety focused, have good communication skills.
- Attention to detail is critical in this role
- Immediate start - On offer for the right candidate
