About The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Accountant to join our dynamic team, reporting to our Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our financial planning processes, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance. A key focus will be partnering with the senior management to ensure financial accountability and realising initiatives for increased profitability. 

You will bring to our business your passion for financial planning, reporting and analysis. You will also have experienced advanced planning processes and systems with your ability to provide transparency on complex manufacturing and logistics margins, including determining the crucial KPI’s to forecast and monitor. Your ability to build and manage relationships is essential as you will be working with key decision makers within assigned verticals. You will be a natural leader with the ability to inspire the performance of others and be able to relay the business performance to the leadership team to inform key decision making.

 To be considered you will need to demonstrate:

  • 10 + years’ experience in a similar role within a complex business greater than $60m in turnover where leading and focused on financial planning and analysis, accounting. Preferably with some manufacturing experience. 
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, analytical planning systems and Excel. 
  • Experience using Workday Adaptive Planning system is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • A master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
  • Drive for results, adaptable and innovative.
  • Honesty, integrity, and a team player

The job will be full time, with hours to be worked between 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
