About the Opportunity

Due to the ongoing growth experienced by the MinRes Asset Management team a great opportunity has now opened up for passionate and technically minded Tyre Coordinator to come on board. The position will be predominantly Perth based at the Osborne Park head office working a 5:2 Monday - Friday roster, site travel will occur on a monthly basis for anywhere up to a week at time a time. As the Tyre Coordinator you will be reporting to the Tyre Principal with a primary responsibility ofproviding strong and clear support with the provision of a broad spectrum of Tyre, Rim & Wheel management for all rubber tyred assets & systems with a priority focus on Off The Road (OTR) Tyres for the Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) fleet.

Key Respsobilities will include:

  • Planning & Coordinating all tyre studies, trials & improvement projects
  • Manage & trialling Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)
  • Identifying optimisation and efficiency opportunities
  • Driving improvements in safety, cost & quality
  • Providing technical support to operations & maintenance teams

What is required

  • Cert II in Tyre Servicing for Heavy Duty Equipment (desirable)
  • Cert II In heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (desirable)
  • Requisite qualifications to to Rove, inspect & refit heavy vehicle wheel & tyre assemblies (desirable)
  • Min 5 years in; OTR Maintenance in a mining environment or similar role with provision of technical support
  • Experience in small to medium sized projects
  • Proficient in the use of applicable software; CMMS, ERP & Tyre Management software(desirable)
  • Excel, Data Sourcing (desirable)
