We are currently seeking a Robots Programmer to join our team located in our Bayswater Head Office. Reporting to the Mechanical Team Leader, you will be responsible for the mechanical design, robotic programming, and implementation of robot-related products.
You will use computer-aided simulator to create virtual studies and perform tests on the robots to ensure safety and quality of all robot tasks. This will be completed in conjunction with other techniques and systems to implement and support engineering functions that achieve innovative ideas whilst creating a collaborative and supportive environment for other design engineering personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with multi-disciplined Engineers to establish packaging requirements for robotic cells.
- Ensure clearance requirements are met and layouts support efficient robot moves.
- Design and verify end-effectors, robot processes, and any other integration with auxiliary products and software.
- Take a lead role in installation and training robotic solutions.
- Provide technical guidance (solution level) in the Project Team.
- Ensure design concepts are peer reviewed by other Senior Engineers and Technical Leaders.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- 3 to 5+ years’ experience in similar fields.
- Demonstrated technical competency in Mechatronic Engineering, including but not limited to;
- Industrialrobot programming and integration
- Engineering principles
- Basic Programming
- Functional Safety
- Proven comprehension of technical/engineering and design principles.
- Proven experience in industrial robotic programming and integration.
- Proven experience in end effector design and pneumatic designs.
- Proficient in NX or other CAD/CAM systems.
- Multi-discipled role.
