Job specific role description:

Department is looking to expand its Information Management and Technology Division, has a requirement for multiple labour-hire resource to fill the role of .Net Developer.

The successful candidate/s must be able to satisfy the following role specific requirements:

• Over 5 years of .Net development experience working on large scale full stack projects including (UI, Integration, Backend services and database design).

• Back-end skills:

o Mandatory - .NET framework, .NET core, MSMQ and C#.

o Desirable – Azure DevOps CI-CD, NServiceBus and SQL Server and Pipeline

• Web service skills:

o Mandatory – C#, REST APIs.

o Desirable – WCF and SOAP legacy services Integration.

Security:

o Strong experience in software development factoring in security at the centre of the design and knowledge of ISM.

o Extensive experience in software development implementing role- based access, auditing and integration with AD, ADFS, LDAP.

Strong knowledge of scalable web services using IIS, load balancers and web farms.

o Strong knowledge of efficient query design.

• Soft skills:

o Excellent communication skills, with a can-do attitude with eagerness to learn new skills and promote good development/engineering practices.

o Collaborate with Stakeholders and Technical staff on all aspects of allocated projects and attend and lead relevant meetings when required.

o Capability to contribute to detailed design documentation and templates for use by the team.
