About the role:
Vidacorp is seeking an Inventory Controller who will take charge of managing the inventory for the Global Supply Chain network to ensure the right service is delivered. This position will need to ensure that optimal stock policy is established and maintained in order to maximise business revenue and profitability. Actively communicate and inform business stakeholders about inventory status and potential risks.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and communicate potential medium/long term Global stock shortages driven by any significant changes that may occur during the month
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimise inventory across categories and markets, and implement relevant action plan
- Revise the parameters influencing the safety stock level for all SKUs, in collaboration with all stakeholders in Supply Chain, in order to achieve service level target, stock turn targets, price, margin, approved batch size etc.
- Engage with the production planner and purchasing team to drive continuous optimisation of upstream supply, creating reports to identify components constraints to facilitate the revision of the plan
- Generate and analyse Ageing Inventory report, identifying low movement stock or risk to expire
- Support communicating the distribution plans for new product launches and introductions (including BOH and POSM items). This will be through generating New SKUs timeline tracker in order to demonstrate risk to meet launch date
- Assist with documenting new processes and workflows
- Maintain Product Life Cycle status for Finished Goods up to date in collaboration with NPD team as well as with Global Demand to manage run-out dates.
- Actively research and recommend best practice methods in the areas of planning and inventory optimisation through process improvements to prevent out of stocks and overstock issues
- Support Supply and Inventory Manager with inventory related analysis/reporting as requested
- Generally, act as a control tower for any inventory matter globally

Skills/Quals we need:
- Ideally 3+ years in Supply Chain Planning experience in a beauty / FMCG company
- Tertiary Qualified in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or Business related is desirable but not essential.
- Experience working with mass market distribution and retailers
- Experience working across a global footprint
- Experience in supply / inventory planning for an omni-channel brand
- Previous experience of managing large SKU portfolios
- experience in working with Planning Systems/MRP, highly desirable experience in implementing a planning system
- Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced and fast growing environment
- Exposure to complex supply chain network embracing manufacturing and retail distribution
- Ability to build effective and influential relationships in a cross-functional team environment and manage senior stakeholders
