Focus of the Role

As a Project Specialist at TBTC Melbourne East, you will support and enable the implementation of Telstra Business products and solutions with our medium and business plus customers. This role is critical to maintaining strong customer relationships that grow both TBTC and Telstra’s revenue across our business customer portfolios. Your ability to listen to and deeply understand our customers, combined with your exceptional technical and project management skills will ensure you support our business customers to find the best ICT solutions to achieve their business goals. You will always put the customer first and support our pillars of Customer Obsession, Brilliant People and Partnerships, Responsible Growth and Returns and Execution Excellence.

This role is based on Burwood, Victoria

What You’ll Do

Telstra Business - Telstra Business Technology Centres provides IT and business support to Telstra's business customers.

  • Project managing a range of service, product and solution implementation for our premium business customers across your TBTC region.
  • Working in the Centre.
  • Support our sales and operations teams by managing complex customer projects against strict timelines and SLAs.
  • Work in partnership with our sales and operations team to identify any risks that could impact the customer when managing specific projects.
  • Actively seek feedback from customers to enhance their experience.
  • Identify and refer further sales opportunities to the Sales Manager gathered during customer interactions.
  • Manage multiple platforms and systems to ensure all products and solutions are configured and activated correctly with minimal impact to the customer.
  • Respond to all project related customer queries and escalate any complaints and leads to the leadership team as required.
  • Ensure timely remediation and positive customer experiences for our premium customers.
  • Authentically collaborate with peers, team members and key stakeholders across the TBTC channel (e.g. Field Sales Team and internal Telstra team and partners) to support exceptional customer experience when delivering our products, solutions, and services.
  • Understand complex ICT solutions to provide our premium customers with the most suitable product or service.
  • Participate in customer initiatives such as developing and maintaining relevant account and portfolio plans that support ongoing relationship development and contribute to the achievement of financial and customer targets (revenue, profitability, NPS) & exceptional customer data quality.
  • Meet individual contribution and team sales and performance KPIs.
  • Continue to upskill and develop capability and knowledge across Telstra’s portfolio of products and business solutions.
  • Identify areas of improvement and actively embrace change and technology to better support our business customers.
  • Consistently provide updates via internal systems to ensure full visibility of projects and tasks.
