About the role...

The purpose of the PMO Manager is to establish and oversee Care Connect's project management practices. This includes establishing and maintaining the PMO function, driving consistency and efficiency in project delivery, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The PMO Manager collaborates with stakeholders to prioritise projects, monitors progress, manages risks, and facilitates communication among project teams.

Additionally, the PMO Manager may lead strategic projects, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure successful outcomes and realisation of benefits.

About You

You are an experienced & qualified project professional with a deep understanding of project management principles, dynamic & collaborative with sound leadership skills. A strategic & lateral thinker, you have the ability to align project activities with broader organisational goals, while anticipating future challenges & risk to the business. Your communication & influencing skills are second to none, building and maintaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven track record of successfully establishing or leading a PMO function
  • Extensive program and project delivery experience, including experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to closure
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project objectives
  • Experience with reporting to stakeholders at all levels, including to Boards
  • Experience in operational leadership or change management roles an advantage
  • Strategic planning experience
  • Advanced skills in project management software such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello etc
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management or technology
  • Project management certification - Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

To be considered for this role you must have full Australian working rights and evidence of a minimum of 3 Covid 19 vaccinations.

Current Police & Working With Children Checks will be required - we can arrange police checks for successful candidates. Our selection process also includes psychometric assessment.
