The Opportunity
As Production Coordinator you will be responsible for creating and completing the Production Orders (PO) in a timely manner in line with the critical path. You will manage production orders and ensure these are accurately reflected and fulfilled by the vendor. Ensure any delays are promptly communicated to stakeholders and internal team to problem solve on a regular basis.
What does the role involve?
- Ensure all production orders are created in line with the business need
- Oversee System transactions, manufacturing orders, finished goods reports, variance reports and any system concerns
- Ensure all the information on the PO is accurate
- Communication with the Supplier
- Thorough follow up on the production schedule and highlights potential delay to Production Manager
- Daily updates from vendors to Production Managers to support reporting
- Ensure all the documentation related to production is available
- Update and maintain Production System
- Support Manager in daily reporting
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during production, such as raw material shortages, or production delays.
- Coordinate delivery with the Logistics team
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor of Fashion/Textiles or equivalent tertiary design qualification (preferred, but not required)
- Confident user of Business systems related to production
- Attention to details and numbers
