MA Services Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant National Operations Manager for our cleaning division. Reporting to the National Operations Manager - Cleaning, This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our operational excellence and drive forward our mission of delivering superior service to our clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating and managing daily operational activities across multiple regions.
  • Support leadership team and state managers in implementing operational strategies and ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in resource planning, including manpower allocation, equipment deployment, and inventory management.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability among operational staff.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Assist in budget planning and management to achieve financial objectives and optimise resource utilization.
  • Support training and development initiatives for operational staff to enhance skills and performance.
  • Act as a point of contact for operational issues and provide timely resolution and support.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years in operations management or a similar role within the cleaning industry.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards relevant to cleaning operations.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks, priorities, and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving operational goals.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in gathering, analysing, and presenting data effectively to create comprehensive and insightful reports that support informed decision-making and drive operational improvements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with operational management systems
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
  • Flexible approach to handle changing priorities and operational challenges
