Metropolitan South Region are seeking a Principal Advisor who will lead a team providing high-level operations, governance, and business services within Metropolitan South Region. This role directly supports the leadingRegional Operations and Corporate Governance functions and will work closely with other senior leaders to continually drive quality, efficiency and improvement in service delivery across the region.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Initiate, lead and manage the Regional Operations and Corporate Governance Team who provide high-level regional operations, governance and services within the region.
  • Provide authoritative strategic and operational advice to regional, leaders on a wide range of legislative, policy and procedural issues.
  • Oversee governance processes that manage the regions enquiries and complaints in line with the Department's Customer Complaints Management policy and procedure, including reporting and records management.
  • Provide authoritative advice and support regional staff to ensure the regional office has quality systems and governance processes for the management of complaints, internal and external communications, community engagement and regional operations.
