What we offer
At Mindshare ANZ, we offer a competitive salary package, with 20 days holiday increasing with service to a maximum of 25 days, with the option to purchase extra leave of up to 4 weeks per year. We also offer a flexible working environment, paid parental leave, flexible public holidays, birthday leave and early finishes during the summer months. Strategy Director
We are looking for a Media Strategy Director to join our team, this would be working across Unilever. We need someone that has previous experience working in a media agency, influencing the media strategy across all media channels, (traditional and digital). Experience of working with big clients will be essential.
Responsibilities
A key pillar of curiosity in the agency, helping drive & promote the hunger for our people to discover human and cultural nuances, always seeking to understand the "why."
- Create 'breakthrough' strategies that deliver real business outcomes by combining creative flair with data-driven analysis.
- Steward the creation of disruptive media and communication ideas, and helping to drive cohesion across the agency village
- Inspire those around them (our agency, our clients, our partners) to drive towards innovative & disruptive ways to achieve better outcomes. This is to be delivered by showcasing work in agency town halls, mentoring talent for industry awards, and crafting case studies to promote
- Have a clear understanding of marketing theory and principles, while utilising a range of tools and research to deliver unique insights and a POV.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure end-to-end excellence, with best-in-class activation, innovation and learning agendas.
- Attend and facilitate brand planning workshops, and high-level client meetings.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Strategy and Chief Product Officer to enhance our strategic offerings and foster our learning culture.
- Play an instrumental role in the overall direction, growth, and profitability of Mindshare.
- Lead new business opportunities when the moment arises, bringing energy, empathy and impact into the new business team.
- Distil complex data into compelling narratives, while utilising your understanding, tools and technology to extrapolate unique insights about the world around us to craft a memorable story.
- Grow relationships within the agency to help guide strategic growth and pathway future strategic talent into the team
- Be an active leader within the team, participating in and maintaining our unique team culture
