The Role

As an Accountant at Hipac, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with the finance team and various departments within the company to accurately record and analyse financial data.

Responsibilities

·Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income

statements, and cash flow statements.

·Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to create and manage budgets, as well as assist in

financial forecasting to support strategic planning.

·Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and assist with the preparation of tax returns,

supporting documentation, and financial audits.

·Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to improve

·Variance Analysis: Investigate and explain any significant variances between budgeted and actual results.

·Payroll Processing: Accurately process employee payroll, including taxes and benefits, and ensure compliance

with all relevant regulations

·Financial Software: Utilize accounting software and other financial tools to maintain accurate records and

streamline financial processes.

·Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain data

accuracy.

·Financial Record Maintenance: Organize and maintain financial records and documentation in a systematic and

·Collaboration: Work closely with CFO and other departments to provide financial information, support decision-

making, and address accounting-related inquiries.

·Quality management: support the CFO in improving and maintaining the Quality Management System

·Organizational: Support the CFO in the organization of among other things Fleet management, Insurances,

Facility Management

·Sustainability: Support CFO implementing sustainability readiness

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and controlling, CPA certification preferred.

3+ years’ experience working in general accounting

Proven experience as an Accountant, ideally in a similar industry.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial standards.

Proficiency in financial software, including but not limited to Excel, and other accounting tools.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

High ethical standards and integrity.

Commercial and business awareness
