QA Engineer

We are looking for someone who can work autonomously and who is keen to help build out the QAprocess at Humanitix. You'll be partnering with multiple product teams and will have the opportunity to be involved in the creation and evolution of a wide range of cutting-edge products. You’ll be empowered and encouraged to apply your own experience, processes, and tools to generate success in this role.

Alongside our lead QA Engineer, Product owner and Developers you will be involved right from the start of the product journey helping to shape stories and write acceptance criteria and test plans. Throughout the development cycle, you will be able to thoroughly test solutions not only to find bugs but give feedback on the user experience. You will be able to manually test websites, apps and APIs and well create and maintain automated test suites.

Responsibilities

• Work with the other team members (Product Owner/ Developers) to deliver Stories and Features
• You will work to standardise QA practices and procedures across the company
• You will take ownership of the QA process, aiming to add value as early in the life cycle as possible
• You will write the tests in a clear, efficient, and re-usable manner
• You will test and debug existing and new applications within established testing protocols and quality standards to ensure applications perform to specification
• At times you may need to write, update and maintain technical end-user documentation

Skills

• Curiosity and a thirst for learning
• Experiencewith both manual and automation
• Able to test at various levels (Front End/UI, API, Back End)
• Able to be flexible in an always-changing Agile environment
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Experience with WebAPI, Postman, and Playwright
• Experience testing mobile apps
