Mechanical Draftsperson

KOTZUR GROUPis a market leading engineering/fabrication business with over 60 employees based in Toowoomba Qld and over 140 employees based inWalla Walla NSW. With clientele from all over Australia, we specialise in the provision of bulk solids storage and handling facilities for the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to add an experienced Design Draftsperson to our team inToowoomba.

Working within the Mechanical Team you will be responsible for translating concept designs into detailed designs for both internal and external projects. Tasks encompass the interpretation of concept designs, creation of detailed designs, maintenance of design records, and the completion of shop floor drawings on an as needs basis. Projects may involve customers from a range of industries including, but not limited to, agricultural, commercial storage and handling, feedlots, mining and plastics.

About the role:

• Predominantly using Inventor, VAULT, and AutoCAD
• You will develop detailed designs from concept designs
• You will ensure Kotzur Design Team office protocols are maintained, including overseeing maintenance of relevant records and documentation
• You will work to support our Estimating, Manufacturing and Project Management teams

Selection criteria for this role includes:

• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills across the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work well in a team
