Business Development Manager

Reporting to the Head of Sales and Distribution for Assetline Capital, the chosen candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships across our full suite of mortgage products.The BDM will also act as a business coach to their network of brokers and proactively help, guide, and advise their panel to achieve revenue targets.

About you

You will:

  • Provide a delightful experience to brokers and their customers in relation to new loan enquiries, applications, or existing loans
  • Proactively manage a sales funnel and follow up sales leads and opportunities to completion
  • Help educate brokers around all loan opportunities and how it can drive their business growth
  • From time to time, support broader business initiatives to improve business performance, efficiencies and broker / customer satisfaction.

What are we looking for….

  • Demonstrated excellence in business development, sales and relationship management with proven experience inmortgage lendingand third-party intermediary spaces
  • Experience in the banking, non-bank and finance industries, specifically within the broker space
  • Current relationships and contacts within the broker market
  • Proven experience in growing a panel of brokers
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding targets
  • Working knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment
  • Ability to understand complex industry segments and utilise this understanding to develop initiatives to drive growth
  • Understanding of financial reports and demonstrated numerical and statistical analysis skills
  • Sound understanding of and experience in project management methodologies
