Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for a Project & Engineering Manager to lead the delivery of our water and wastewater inspection, cleaning and rehabilitation projects in Wangara, 6065. In this key role, you will be responsible for achieving project time, cost and quality objectives while enabling business growth by exceeding customer requirements.

What you'll be responsible for
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects from planning through execution and close-out
  • Solve technical challenges related to project delivery, field work, data management etc.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports and information to required standards
  • Liaise with customers, contractors, authorities and stakeholders throughout projects
  • Provide expert technical advice, issue resolution and quotations as required
  • Leverage expertise in water/sewer network construction and rehabilitation
  • Contribute to estimation, tendering and recommending delivery methodologies
  • Establish robust relationships with internal teams, customers and partners
  • Manage resource planning and utilization to achieve project objectives
  • Respond to additional work requests with quality responses and estimates
  • Monitor and report on contract KPIs and project status
     
What you'll need to be successful
  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Water Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in the water industry, particularly water/sewer construction
  • In-depth knowledge of civil construction/rehabilitation practices and processes
