About the Role
Working as part of a close-knit team, the Project Coordinator is required to undertake a diverse range of general administrative and support duties.

You will be the backbone of this team by ensuring the team stays on track of deadlines and by acting as the primary conduit for the flow of information and communication across numerous stakeholders across this program.

Whilst every day will be different, you will be involved in the following:
  • Providing general administrative support to the environmental approvals team and Team Leader.
  • Supporting the engagement with relevant internal and external stakeholders including State and Federal Government agencies on environmental approvals.
  • Researching solutions for complex and priority environmental approvals.
  • Assisting with various environmental approvals such as site environmental plans, construction environmental plans.
  • Assisting the team with general environmental queries on this program.
  • Proof reading and review of various environmental documents such as; planning and application documents.
  • Assist with environmental planning strategies.
  • Assist with environmental assessments and reports.
  • Provide general advice on project – you will be the subject matter expert on the project. The Project Managers and Directors will consult with you on various matters and key milestones.
  • Maintaining, monitoring and evaluating data, programs, initiatives and resources to continuously improve and meet the objectives of relevant strategies, policies, plans and legislation. 

Skills | Experience | Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Management, Science or similar, and/or relevant industry experience supported by environmental sustainability experience.
  • Strong technical writing skills and strong communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and excellent time management.
  • Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and be self-motivated.
