Picture this, you’re working in the community, travelling in your company car to client’s homes and utilising your 5+ years of experience as a professional Speech Pathologist, to deliver the exceptional service NDIS participants need and deserve. Sound good to you? You can do it here, at Talk Health Therapy, a privately-owned small business, with no corporate politics, where you’ll earn a salary of up to $110,000 per year for your service.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing your schedule and caseload independently.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders across the business, including, clients, referrers and colleagues.
  • Working independently, ensuring a high level of service is maintained both during sessions and after, such as when you are recording progress notes, assessment reports or other clinical materials.
  • Conducting in home assessments of clients' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity.
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help clients improve their quality of life.
  • Recommending Assistive Technology solutions to enhance clients' functional independence. 
  • Collaborating with clients' families, medical practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. 
  • Maintaining thorough case management notes and developing comprehensive reports.
  • Providing in-home care to NDIS participants.

The ideal candidate

  • Current practising member of SPA with Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status and Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
  • Ideally 5+ years experience as a Speech Pathologist, with demonstrated experience in Paediatrics and NDIS.
  • A valid driver's licence.
