Arup, a unique organization owned and run by its employees, invites you to join as a Fire & Hydraulics Engineer, where you will play a pivotal part in developing innovative solutions for fire suppression, detection, and hydraulic infrastructure. You will get to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the entire project lifecycle—from concept development to detailed design and construction oversight.
The Opportunity
•Lead the meticulous design and implementation of fire protection and hydraulic systems for diverse projects.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to construction oversight.
•Develop innovative solutions for fire suppression, detection, and hydraulic infrastructure.
•Ensure the quality and accuracy of individual work, taking accountability for defined parts of design projects.
•Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate plumbing design into building plans, ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and health regulations.

Is this role right for you?
•Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a similar area.
•Relevant MEP Building Services experience within a consulting business environment.
•Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Hydraulic/Fire Sprinkler/Suppression design software.
•Proven ability to uphold high standards in work, meticulously reviewing all aspects to ensure accuracy and completeness.
•Ability to tackle challenges strategically, identify root causes, and explore innovative solutions with a critical mindset.
