Our Insights and Data team helps our clients make better business decisions by transforming an ocean of data into streams of insight. Due to continued growth within Capgemini's Insights & Data practice, we intend to recruit a BI Engineer with relevant consulting and communication skills. Roles and responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst- MDM, you will be critical in gathering and analyzing business requirements for MDM initiatives. You will design MDM solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure successful implementation and adoption of MDM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business requirements for MDM initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and data governance policies.
- Design and document MDM solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud, including data models, data quality rules, and integration workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts, to ensure successful implementation and adoption of MDM solutions.
- Conduct data analysis, profiling, and mapping activities to identify data quality issues and recommend appropriate remediation strategies.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and training materials.
- Participate in the testing and validation of MDM solutions, ensuring data integrity and adherence to business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing MDM solutions, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Stay current with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging MDM and data management technologies.
- Proven experience as an MDM Business Analyst, preferably with a strong background in the public sector.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
- Experience with data integration tools, preferably MuleSoft, for integrating MDM solutions with other systems.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality, and data governance principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of industry-specific data standards and regulations (e.g., healthcare, finance, government).
- Certification in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) or related technologies.
