JMT Civil is a family-owned Heavy Haulage/ Civil Construction business. JMT Civil provides a professional heavy haulage service using well maintained, well presented late model Kenworth trucks, with various trailers combinations.

Our ambition is clear: to become the premier heavy haulage operator in NSW, synonymous with excellence in transporting machinery of significant size across the nation. 

We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join our team in our heavy haulage division to help guide our ambition . The successful applicant will be required for a range of duty’s.

Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the heavy haulage division, ensuring efficient and safe transport of machinery, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Business Development and Sales: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote JMT Civil’s services, targeting new sectors such as mining and heavy precast industries, and establishing the company as a leader in interstate heavy machinery transport.

System Implementation: Implement robust operational systems and technology to streamline haulage logistics, enhance route planning, and optimize fleet management for superior service delivery.

Human Resources: Lead the recruitment, training, and development of a skilled workforce, fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the heavy haulage team.

Finance: Manage the division’s financial performance by setting and overseeing budgets, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities for financial growth and stability.

Research and Development: Conduct ongoing research to stay ahead of industry trends, innovate haulage solutions, and develop new services that meet the evolving needs of JMT Civil’s clientele.

These responsibilities are designed to ensure that the Transport Manager will play a crucial role in driving JMT Civil’s growth and success in the heavy haulage sector.
