Informatech are a Canberra based ICT consultancy with over 200 staff, specialising in Testing, Infrastructure, Project Delivery and Security. On the back of an excellent financial year where we have grown into new markets and customers, we recently achieved number 22 on the Australian Financial Reviews Fast 100 List and the growth is continuing in the new year.

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Architect to assist in a federal government project to develop and document cyber security architectures, and support the department's architecture team to align with security controls and practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and document Cyber Security architectures.
  • Conduct Cyber Security and quality assurance reviews of security documentation, project, and external service provider deliverables.
  • Review architecture and design documents to align with ISM, PSPF and Essential 8.
  • Develop and maintain security requirements, design and testing documentation and technical specifications.

Skills and Experience

Demonstrable experience in a federal government environment in:

  • Cyber Security architecture and documentation.
  • Security Threat and Risk Assessments.
  • Leading technical reviews and endorsement of solution designs and changes.
  • Evaluating cyber security controls.
  • Developing and maintaining security artefacts including System Security Plans, Security Risk Management Plans, SSP-A.
