The Warehouse/Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating warehouse and logistics as part of the supply chain function when manufacturing products and sub-assemblies for ICM products and projects.
As a key member of the supply chain and manufacturing team, the Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the local warehouse functions utilizing the assistance of a team of casuals reporting to them, this extends to all national and international freight coordination utilizing 3rd party logistics suppliers.
Main Responsibilities
Lead the warehouse team day-to-day operations, activities and co-workers/Casuals management to ensure efficient warehouse operation. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
Maintain inventory management systems using ERP software to ensure accurate stock Counts. Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
Develop and document warehouse processes. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Working closely with the Manufacturing Manager, Internal config team and Supply Chain team.
Manage warehouse picking and packing operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Experience Required
3-5 years of experience in warehouse and inventory control.
Proficient in warehouse picking and packing procedures.
Experience in leading warehouse personnel and operations.
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership potentials.
Familiarity with logistics processes.
