Our client is a leading engineering contractor who has been specialising for over 25 years in a comprehensive and unique range of ground engineering solutions including ground anchoring, slope stabilisation, shotcrete, architectural shotcrete, retention & foundation piling, specialist civils contracting and ground improvement.

Our client has an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer to join their team and work alongside their Project Managers. The successful candidate will have experience in - Ground anchoring, Ground Improvement, Shotcrete, and Foundation piling.

The Role

You’ll be reporting into the Regional Projects Division Manager and will commence on a 2 year long RMS road stabilisation project. This position provides direct career progression into a Project Management role.

Location

You will be required to visit and work from the site office 2-3 days per week on the Central Coast and the remaining of your week at either their Balmain or Sutherland Shire offices. Following completion of this project you will roll on to the next project to manage.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or a related field - Essential
  • A minimum of 5+ years experience as a Project Engineer working on similar scopes - Ground anchoring, Ground Improvement, Shotcrete, and Foundation piling
  • Excellent communication skills - with internal and external people
  • Full Drivers License
  • White Card
  • Full Australian working rights - No sponsorship available
