Towing Operations Fleet Controller

About the role

As the Towing Operations Fleet Controller, you will be at the forefront of our towing operations, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the dispatching of our transport fleet. Your primary objective is to ensure the efficient execution of towing services while upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. Additionally, you will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative team environment to maximise productivity and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently oversee and coordinate towing operations and dispatching of the transport fleet.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of towing services while maintaining a high standard of safety.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment to enhance productivity and morale.
  • Utilise strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a results-oriented mindset to achieve operational objectives and targets.
  • Utilise experience in transport fleet control operations to optimise efficiency and performance.
  • Leverage knowledge and experience in towing operations, dispatch operations, logistics, or transport environment to drive continuous improvement.

About you

  • Relevant experience in towing operations, dispatch operations, logistics, or transport environment.
  • Experience with Hexagon Computer Aided Dispatch System is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving results and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational requirements.
