Childcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training)

Avenues Montessori Children’s House – Sunnybank is a beautiful and calm centre conveniently situated near the main road and public transport lines and operates within long day care hours to support the families and children of Sunnybank, Brisbane, and surrounding areas.
The role
This is a great long-term opportunity for an qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. Montessori qualification and experience preffered, but not essential. Must be available to work 5 days Monday-Friday.
Duties:
- Supporting the Lead Educator/Teacher at planning, preparation and delivery on the room program that is guided by the EYLF document.
- Using your creative vision to assist our community of families, children and employees.
- Some light cleaning is required in this role
Position Requires
- Minimum Cert III of Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Montessori qualification and experience preffered, but not essential.
- A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
- A current Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- The ability to work any shift between operations hours of 6:30am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday
- Enjoy co-collaborating, developing and maintaining open relationships with parents and co Educators.
- Excellent communication, planning and time management skills.
