The Role

We are looking for a Clinical Nurse to join our Residential Aged Care team in Millmerran QLD. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing high quality clinical care for Residents within established policies, guidelines, and procedures of McLean Care.

About You

We are looking for individuals that are caring, empathetic & looking to contribute to their communities. You will have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Previous experience working in an Aged Care setting is desirable, but not essential. To be successful in this role will have strong communication & leadership skills, be computer savvy and can work effectively when part of a team.

Essential:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 12 months experience as registered nurse
  • Demonstrated high level of analytical, written, and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of individualised care provision and care planning processes.
  • Excellent understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and experience in managing compliance.
  • Demonstrated provision of clinical leadership.
  • Collaborative leadership style.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and/or their families/representatives, and staff.
  • Ability to work well within a team and to liaise closely on key decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence people
  • Excellent computer skills
