Surrounded by stunning views of Lake Macquarie and set in a tranquil lakeside parkland, Bolton Clarke Macquarie View at Bolton Point is located on a peninsula jutting into Australia’s largest coastal saltwater lagoon, Lake Macquarie, near Newcastle in NSW.

About the role

In this role you will assist with serving meals to our wonderful residents.

Shift Pattern Availability:

  • Monday to Sunday - 4pm to 7pm

Preferably also have availability for 7am to 1.30pm to cover annual leave and sick leave.

To be successful you must demonstrate the following:

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of good hygiene practices
  • Professional presentation
  • Flexible with availability
  • Knowledge of WH&S work practices will be highly regarded
  • Previous work in aged care is preferred

What do we need from you?

  • Previous experience in kitchen or catering
  • Willingness to take direction from others
  • Reliability and shift flexibility
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Basic computer skills
  • Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • COVID vaccinations in line with current requirements
  • 2024 Flu vaccination or willingness to obtain
