About the Role :

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading multiple complex or enterprise projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget. This role involves working with regional and offshore teams and multiple stakeholders. It is a client-facing role and will suit someone who has a high degree of organisation, project management capability, and an interest in eCommerce.

Responsibilities :

• Demonstrating strong problem-solving and complex project delivery skills.

• Develop detailed project/sprint plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports by balancing the business needs with technical constraints.

• Manage projects using either waterfall or agile delivery models to execute plans and deliver within budget and schedule.

• Deliver requirements by understanding and balancing competing demands for programme scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.

• Uphold the highest standards of project management methodology, including regular and effective communication with key stakeholders, governance, change management, and thorough risk management.

• Escalate any issues that may negatively impact project delivery or resources.

• Perform all usual duties of a Project Manager in accordance with policy, methodology, and artefact creation.

• Run detailed scoping sessions with clients and internal teams to identify project deliverables and create project-specific documentation such as functional specifications and technical specifications.

• Manage client relationships and multiple client stakeholders throughout the project.
  

Skills & Experience :

• Minimum of 3 years in project management at a senior level.

• Proven experience in project delivery for complex or enterprise-sized projects.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to manage and engage stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, across client and internal business functions to deliver against defined objectives.

• Ability to work effectively within a high performing team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to tailor communication methods to the intended audience.

• Understanding of the commercial elements of projects.
