Location:
Operating from their base in the NSW Hunter region, projects are in various NSW regional areas, with on-site or local accommodation, transport, and meals provided.

The Position:
An experienced Civil Site Supervisor is sought, to oversee on-site operations for industrial-scale infrastructure projects.

The role requires a broad background in civil construction, including technical concrete work and structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Manage site resources including labor, materials, and equipment to achieve project milestones effectively.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with project management, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and optimize project outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed records of site activities, progress reports, and quality control checks.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment, providing leadership and guidance to site personnel.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Civil Site Supervisor or similar role, with a strong local background in civil construction and concrete structures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on-site for extended periods on a roster (2 to 3 weeks on, 1 week off depending on project requirements), with flexibility for DIDO or FIFO arrangements.
  • Willingness to live on-site, with accomodation, meals, and transport provided or covered depending on individual situations, 
  • Trades background, and related qualifications well regarded.
