SO4 are striving toward the production of high-grade Sulphate of Potash (SOP). Our Lake Way asset is located in the Goldfields region of Western Australia,15 kilometres south of Wiluna. We are about to enter a critical 3-phase process: Restart, the sale of the first commercial product, Nameplate, and Production.

THE ROLE

A new opportunity for a Senior Production (Process) Engineer to make their mark on site at our Process Plant. Our Process plant is interesting and contains a mix of chemical and hydrometallurgical processing including crushing, flotation, conversion reactions and crystallisation.

As the Senior Production Process Engineer, you will be involved in providing technical oversight of the solar evaporation ponds, which produce the plant feed salt, the salt harvesting and ROM management, and a dynamic processing plant. 

This role has touch points throughout the whole process with the opportunity to influence at all levels. 

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a candidate with 7+ years proven experience preferably within the mining industry; Salt or Potash experience is highly desirable, and significant practical experience in plant operations and with process control systems. You will have experience in providing guidance and support to management in critical decision-making situations and have the ability to communicate with a confident and compelling message to a wide range of stakeholders.

To be successful, you will possess the following:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) or (Metallurgical Engineering)
  • Experience working in high-risk safety environment, e.g., mining, resources, engineering, construction, or manufacturing sector
  • Established approach on being able to effectively source, gather, interpret, and communicate quantitative and qualitative data
