Job Description- Req#: FRF9K Security Clearance Required for this role: * Must have at least Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance, NV2 preferred. * Must be an Australian Citizen * Mon to Fri - office hours Key Responsibilities: Project Management: * Take charge of defining, facilitating, and successfully completing medium-scale IT projects, meeting business impacts and deadlines. * Identify, assess, and manage project risks, maintaining realistic plans and keeping stakeholders informed. * Utilize appropriate project management methods and tools, ensuring quality reviews occur as scheduled. * Manage change control procedures to ensure project deliverables are completed within budget and signed off. * Provide effective leadership to project teams, addressing deviations from agreed tolerances. Incident/Problem/Service Request Management: * Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of incident and problem management processes. * Monitor process effectiveness and recommend improvements. * Proactively and reactively resolve issues, documenting root causes to prevent future incidents. * Develop and maintain incident and problem management documentation. * Manage major incidents or High Priority Incidents. Skills and Qualifications: * Proven experience in managing IT projects and resolving incidents/problems. * Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with the ability to tailor approaches based on project needs. * Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of anticipating, investigating, and resolving issues. * Ability to manage risks and maintain project plans within agreed parameters. * Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead project teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders. * Familiarity with reporting systems and issue documentation, as well as problem resolution analysis. Requirements: * Work independently, initiate tasks, and be accountable for achieving objectives. * Influence stakeholders and lead collaborations to ensure user needs are met. * Manage complex tasks across variable contexts, integrating specialized knowledge with business needs. * Continuously learn and develop industry knowledge, setting standards for others. * Demonstrate leadership, effective communication, collaboration, and contribute to security practices.
