THE ROLE

As the Production Planner & Supply Chain Officer you will be based in our NSW Tomago facility and be responsible and accountable for production scheduling, inventory, and supply chain management to ensure the efficient and on time delivery of customer orders. Reporting to the Chief Manufacturing Officer (CMO) you will communicate and co-ordinate with various internal departments and stakeholders to achieve a schedule that provides the most effective means of completing the order on time and to budget.

• Play a pro-active role in ensuring the safety of our team and wider community in all operations.
• Oversee material resource planning, ensuring inventory purchase orders are processed at the appropriate time to ensure delivery schedules are achieved and working capital is optimised.
• Coordination in conjunction with the CMO to schedule manufacturing operations. Work with the manufacturing team to measure line performance, identify bottlenecks and opportunities to optimise performance. Minimise down time within target levels while maintaining required maintenance.
• Manage stocktake process, optimise inventory levels and minimise stocktake losses.
• Co-ordinate with logistics providers to ensure safe and efficient delivery of our products to customers.

ABOUT YOU

Your qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Trade or a similar discipline and a minimum of 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing planning, inventory management or supply chain role will ensure your success. Additionally, you will possess;

• A methodical approach to planning with an eye for detail
• The ability to organise and manage multiple activities and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated exposure working to conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• The drive to seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies
• A positive approach to safety
