About the Role:
A place of opportunity We are looking for a Advanced Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist Hand Therapywho is flexible in their thinking and courageous in their actions. A person with compassion and empathy, who understands that attitudes are contagious.

You will provide service wide Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy advice on specialised clinical areas and service delivery models in the area of Primary Contact Hand Therapy, including taking a lead role in skill development of less experienced staff.

The Eight Mile Plains Satellite Hospital is one of seven new healthcare facilities being delivered in South-East Queensland under the Queensland's Government's Satellite Hospital Program. Managed by Logan Hospital, the facility will be designed to provide healthcare services, closer to home for the rapidly growing community.

The Eight Mile Plains Satellite Hospital will include:

  • a minor injury and illness clinic
  • day therapies including kidney dialysis, chemotherapy, allied health and specialist outpatient services.
