Join us as a Synchronous Condenser Business Development Manager for the Motion Business Area where you will be responsible for following the market, finding leads, understanding the trends, and discussing with potential partners and customers. This position reports to the Division Manager and can be based in either Notting Hill, Eagle Farm or Moorebank, Australia.

Your responsibilities
  • Being responsible to follow the market, find leads, understand the trends, and discuss with potential partners and customers
  • Developing and following the strategy and building relationships with both potential partners and customers
  • Finding opportunities, supporting customers during the sales lifecycle, delivering quotations, supporting with pricing issues
  • Participating in social media discussions, conferences, and trade shows for power system stability, energy storage, wind, solar, and mining
  • Following discussions, market trends and updates by the regulator (AEMO) and TNSP’s related to grid stability and the electricity market
  • Marketing of synchronous condenser related products and services, as well as provide training for customers and other stakeholders
Your background
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical or mechanical engineering with experience in sales
  • Understanding of Grid stability requirements and competing technologies
  • Familiar with Australian power network players and regulations
  • Experience in long term projects and relationships building with high level commercial and technical partners
  • Experience working with EPCs and TNSPs.Excellent cooperation skills and interest in building productive relationships
  • Systematic, independent, responsible, and flexible attitude to work. A customer focused attitude and possibilities to travel
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written
