We are looking for a passionate and analytical Billing & Master Data Specialist to join our Finance Operations team. As a Billing & Master Data Specialist, your role is to always maintain a high-quality ERP system, through an ever-changing environment. This includes the strictest levels of governance and accountability for system accuracy. Through the maintenance of the ERP system, accurate reconciliation of costs against system information is required to ensure the quality and timeliness of billing to all customers. 

As a Billing & Master Data Specialist you are responsible for:

  • Timely and accurate actioning of cases and reconciliation of invoices 
  • Validation of rates against contracts, to eliminate discrepancies 
  • Ongoing training with internal stakeholders to enhance processes and systems moving forward 
  • Resolve invoicing and credit issues & find efficiency opportunities 
  • Proactive communication and follow up to efficiently resolve all discrepancy matters with stakeholders, internal and external 
  • Support of the broader functions as required – upholding quality and information sharing 
  • Collaborating with the Account Managers on invoicing post Go-Live date to ensure accurate billing and successful transition of new accounts 
  • Identification of key trends and reporting to internal stakeholders 
  • Investigation and audit of Warehousing activity  
  • Support in ad hoc projects

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 12 months Billing experience (Analytical and/or Systems experience desirable) 
  • MS Office (Intermediate – Advanced Excel) 
  • Successful track record of problem solving and continuous improvement projects 
  • Proven ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret data for decision-making 
  • Demonstrate strong mathematical ability 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment 
  • Warehouse knowledge advantageous
